And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 καὶ — καὶ and– αὐτοὶ — αὐτοὶ they ἐνίκησαν — ἐνίκησαν conquered αὐτὸν — αὐτὸν him διὰ — διὰ through τὸ — τὸ the αἷμα — αἷμα blood τοῦ — τοῦ of-the Ἀρνίου, — Ἀρνίου, Lamb καὶ — καὶ and– διὰ — διὰ through τὸν — τὸν the λόγον — λόγον word τῆς — τῆς of-the μαρτυρίας — μαρτυρίας testimony αὐτῶν; — αὐτῶν; of-them καὶ — καὶ and– οὐκ — οὐκ not ἠγάπησαν — ἠγάπησαν they-loved τὴν — τὴν the ψυχὴν — ψυχὴν life αὐτῶν — αὐτῶν of-them ἄχρι — ἄχρι until θανάτου. — θανάτου. death
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12 διὰ — διὰ because-of τοῦτο — τοῦτο this εὐφραίνεσθε — εὐφραίνεσθε rejoice ‹οἱ› — ‹οἱ› the οὐρανοὶ, — οὐρανοὶ, heavens καὶ — καὶ and– οἱ — οἱ the-ones ἐν — ἐν in αὐτοῖς — αὐτοῖς them σκηνοῦντες! — σκηνοῦντες! dwelling οὐαὶ — οὐαὶ woe τὴν — τὴν to-the γῆν — γῆν earth καὶ — καὶ and– τὴν — τὴν the θάλασσαν, — θάλασσαν, sea ὅτι — ὅτι because κατέβη — κατέβη came-down ὁ — ὁ the διάβολος — διάβολος devil πρὸς — πρὸς to ὑμᾶς — ὑμᾶς you ἔχων, — ἔχων, having θυμὸν — θυμὸν wrath μέγαν, — μέγαν, great εἰδὼς — εἰδὼς knowing ὅτι — ὅτι that ὀλίγον — ὀλίγον little καιρὸν — καιρὸν time ἔχει. — ἔχει. he-has
Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
13 Καὶ — Καὶ And– ὅτε — ὅτε when εἶδεν — εἶδεν saw ὁ — ὁ the δράκων, — δράκων, dragon ὅτι — ὅτι that ἐβλήθη — ἐβλήθη he-was-cast εἰς — εἰς onto τὴν — τὴν the γῆν, — γῆν, earth ἐδίωξεν — ἐδίωξεν he-pursued τὴν — τὴν the γυναῖκα, — γυναῖκα, woman ἥτις — ἥτις who ἔτεκεν — ἔτεκεν bore τὸν — τὸν the ἄρσενα. — ἄρσενα. male
And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
14 καὶ — καὶ and– ἐδόθησαν — ἐδόθησαν were-given τῇ — τῇ to-the γυναικὶ — γυναικὶ woman αἱ — αἱ the δύο — δύο two πτέρυγες — πτέρυγες wings τοῦ — τοῦ of-the ἀετοῦ — ἀετοῦ eagle τοῦ — τοῦ – μεγάλου, — μεγάλου, great ἵνα — ἵνα that– πέτηται — πέτηται she-might-fly εἰς — εἰς into τὴν — τὴν the ἔρημον, — ἔρημον, wilderness εἰς — εἰς into τὸν — τὸν the τόπον — τόπον place αὐτῆς, — αὐτῆς, of-her ὅπου — ὅπου where τρέφεται — τρέφεται she-is-nourished ἐκεῖ — ἐκεῖ there καιρὸν, — καιρὸν, a-time καὶ — καὶ and– καιροὺς, — καιροὺς, times καὶ — καὶ and– ἥμισυ — ἥμισυ half καιροῦ, — καιροῦ, a-time ἀπὸ — ἀπὸ from προσώπου — προσώπου face τοῦ — τοῦ of-the ὄφεως. — ὄφεως. serpent
And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
15 καὶ — καὶ and– ἔβαλεν — ἔβαλεν cast ὁ — ὁ the ὄφις, — ὄφις, serpent ἐκ — ἐκ from τοῦ — τοῦ the στόματος — στόματος mouth αὐτοῦ, — αὐτοῦ, of-him ὀπίσω — ὀπίσω after τῆς — τῆς the γυναικὸς, — γυναικὸς, woman ὕδωρ — ὕδωρ water ὡς — ὡς like ποταμόν, — ποταμόν, a-river ἵνα — ἵνα that– αὐτὴν — αὐτὴν her ποταμοφόρητον — ποταμοφόρητον river-carried ποιήσῃ. — ποιήσῃ. he-might-make
And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
16 καὶ — καὶ and– ἐβοήθησεν — ἐβοήθησεν helped ἡ — ἡ the γῆ — γῆ earth τῇ — τῇ the γυναικί, — γυναικί, woman καὶ — καὶ and– ἤνοιξεν — ἤνοιξεν opened ἡ — ἡ the γῆ — γῆ earth τὸ — τὸ the στόμα — στόμα mouth αὐτῆς, — αὐτῆς, of-her καὶ — καὶ and– κατέπιεν — κατέπιεν swallowed τὸν — τὸν the ποταμὸν, — ποταμὸν, river ὃν — ὃν which ἔβαλεν — ἔβαλεν cast ὁ — ὁ the δράκων — δράκων dragon ἐκ — ἐκ from τοῦ — τοῦ the στόματος — στόματος mouth αὐτοῦ. — αὐτοῦ. of-him
And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17 καὶ — καὶ and– ὠργίσθη — ὠργίσθη was-angry ὁ — ὁ the δράκων — δράκων dragon ἐπὶ — ἐπὶ at τῇ — τῇ the γυναικί, — γυναικί, woman καὶ — καὶ and– ἀπῆλθεν — ἀπῆλθεν went-away ποιῆσαι — ποιῆσαι to-make πόλεμον — πόλεμον war μετὰ — μετὰ with τῶν — τῶν the λοιπῶν — λοιπῶν rest τοῦ — τοῦ of-the σπέρματος — σπέρματος seed αὐτῆς, — αὐτῆς, of-her τῶν — τῶν the-ones τηρούντων — τηρούντων keeping τὰς — τὰς the ἐντολὰς — ἐντολὰς commandments τοῦ — τοῦ of– Θεοῦ, — Θεοῦ, God καὶ — καὶ and– ἐχόντων — ἐχόντων having τὴν — τὴν the μαρτυρίαν — μαρτυρίαν testimony Ἰησοῦ. — Ἰησοῦ. of-Iesous καὶ — καὶ and– ἐστάθη — ἐστάθη he-stood ἐπὶ — ἐπὶ upon τὴν — τὴν the ἄμμον — ἄμμον sand τῆς — τῆς of-the θαλάσσης. — θαλάσσης. sea
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
