And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
3 καὶ — καὶ and– οὐδεὶς — οὐδεὶς no–one ἐδύνατο — ἐδύνατο was–able ἐν — ἐν in τῷ — τῷ the οὐρανῷ, — οὐρανῷ, heaven οὐδὲ — οὐδὲ nor ἐπὶ — ἐπὶ upon τῆς — τῆς the γῆς, — γῆς, earth οὐδὲ — οὐδὲ nor ὑποκάτω — ὑποκάτω under τῆς — τῆς the γῆς, — γῆς, earth ἀνοῖξαι — ἀνοῖξαι to–open τὸ — τὸ the βιβλίον, — βιβλίον, scroll οὔτε — οὔτε nor βλέπειν — βλέπειν to–look–at αὐτό. — αὐτό. it
And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
4 καὶ — καὶ and– ‹ἐγὼ› — ‹ἐγὼ› I ἔκλαιον — ἔκλαιον was–weeping πολὺ, — πολὺ, much ὅτι — ὅτι because οὐδεὶς — οὐδεὶς no–one ἄξιος — ἄξιος worthy εὑρέθη — εὑρέθη was–found ἀνοῖξαι — ἀνοῖξαι to–open τὸ — τὸ the βιβλίον, — βιβλίον, scroll οὔτε — οὔτε nor βλέπειν — βλέπειν to–look–at αὐτό. — αὐτό. it
And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
9 καὶ — καὶ and– ᾄδουσιν — ᾄδουσιν they–sing ᾠδὴν — ᾠδὴν a–song καινὴν, — καινὴν, new λέγοντες, — λέγοντες, saying Ἄξιος — Ἄξιος Worthy εἶ — εἶ you–are λαβεῖν — λαβεῖν to–receive τὸ — τὸ the βιβλίον, — βιβλίον, scroll καὶ — καὶ and– ἀνοῖξαι — ἀνοῖξαι to–open τὰς — τὰς the σφραγῖδας — σφραγῖδας seals αὐτοῦ; — αὐτοῦ; of–it ὅτι — ὅτι because ἐσφάγης, — ἐσφάγης, you–were–slain καὶ — καὶ and– ἠγόρασας — ἠγόρασας you–purchased τῷ — τῷ for–the Θεῷ — Θεῷ God ἐν — ἐν with τῷ — τῷ the αἵματί — αἵματί blood σου, — σου, of–you ἐκ — ἐκ from πάσης — πάσης every φυλῆς, — φυλῆς, tribe καὶ — καὶ and– γλώσσης, — γλώσσης, tongue καὶ — καὶ and– λαοῦ, — λαοῦ, people καὶ — καὶ and– ἔθνους, — ἔθνους, nation
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 καὶ — καὶ and– ἐποίησας — ἐποίησας you–made αὐτοὺς — αὐτοὺς them τῷ — τῷ to–the Θεῷ — Θεῷ God ἡμῶν, — ἡμῶν, of–us βασιλείαν — βασιλείαν a–kingdom καὶ — καὶ and– ἱερεῖς; — ἱερεῖς; priests καὶ — καὶ and– βασιλεύσουσιν — βασιλεύσουσιν they–will–reign ἐπὶ — ἐπὶ upon τῆς — τῆς the γῆς. — γῆς. earth
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
11 καὶ — καὶ and– εἶδον, — εἶδον, I–saw καὶ — καὶ and– ἤκουσα — ἤκουσα I–heard φωνὴν — φωνὴν a–voice ἀγγέλων — ἀγγέλων of–angels πολλῶν — πολλῶν many κύκλῳ — κύκλῳ around τοῦ — τοῦ the θρόνου, — θρόνου, throne καὶ — καὶ and– τῶν — τῶν of–the ζῴων, — ζῴων, living–creatures καὶ — καὶ and– τῶν — τῶν of–the πρεσβυτέρων; — πρεσβυτέρων; elders καὶ — καὶ and– ἦν — ἦν was ὁ — ὁ the ἀριθμὸς — ἀριθμὸς number αὐτῶν — αὐτῶν of–them μυριάδες — μυριάδες myriads μυριάδων, — μυριάδων, of–myriads καὶ — καὶ and– χιλιάδες — χιλιάδες thousands χιλιάδων; — χιλιάδων; of–thousands
And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
12 λέγοντες — λέγοντες saying φωνῇ — φωνῇ with–a–voice μεγάλῃ, — μεγάλῃ, loud Ἄξιόν — Ἄξιόν Worthy ἐστιν — ἐστιν is τὸ — τὸ the Ἀρνίον — Ἀρνίον Lamb τὸ — τὸ the ἐσφαγμένον, — ἐσφαγμένον, having–been–slain λαβεῖν — λαβεῖν to–receive τὴν — τὴν the δύναμιν, — δύναμιν, power καὶ — καὶ and– πλοῦτον, — πλοῦτον, riches καὶ — καὶ and– σοφίαν, — σοφίαν, wisdom καὶ — καὶ and– ἰσχὺν, — ἰσχὺν, strength καὶ — καὶ and– τιμὴν, — τιμὴν, honor καὶ — καὶ and– δόξαν, — δόξαν, glory καὶ — καὶ and– εὐλογίαν! — εὐλογίαν! blessing
Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
13 καὶ — καὶ and– πᾶν — πᾶν every κτίσμα — κτίσμα creature ὃ — ὃ which ἐν — ἐν in τῷ — τῷ the οὐρανῷ, — οὐρανῷ, heaven καὶ — καὶ and– ἐπὶ — ἐπὶ upon τῆς — τῆς the γῆς, — γῆς, earth καὶ — καὶ and– ὑποκάτω — ὑποκάτω under τῆς — τῆς the γῆς, — γῆς, earth καὶ — καὶ and– ἐπὶ — ἐπὶ upon τῆς — τῆς the θαλάσσης — θαλάσσης sea 〈ἐστίν〉 — 〈ἐστίν〉 is καὶ — καὶ and– τὰ — τὰ the ἐν — ἐν in αὐτοῖς — αὐτοῖς them πάντα, — πάντα, all ἤκουσα — ἤκουσα I–heard λέγοντας, — λέγοντας, saying Τῷ — Τῷ To–the καθημένῳ — καθημένῳ sitting ἐπὶ — ἐπὶ upon τῷ — τῷ the θρόνῳ, — θρόνῳ, throne καὶ — καὶ and– τῷ — τῷ to–the Ἀρνίῳ, — Ἀρνίῳ, Lamb ἡ — ἡ the εὐλογία, — εὐλογία, blessing καὶ — καὶ and– ἡ — ἡ the τιμὴ, — τιμὴ, honor καὶ — καὶ and– ἡ — ἡ the δόξα, — δόξα, glory καὶ — καὶ and– τὸ — τὸ the κράτος, — κράτος, might εἰς — εἰς into τοὺς — τοὺς the αἰῶνας — αἰῶνας ages τῶν — τῶν of–the αἰώνων. — αἰώνων. ages
And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
14 καὶ — καὶ and– τὰ — τὰ the τέσσαρα — τέσσαρα four ζῷα — ζῷα living–creatures ἔλεγον, — ἔλεγον, were–saying Ἀμήν; — Ἀμήν; Amen καὶ — καὶ and– οἱ — οἱ the πρεσβύτεροι — πρεσβύτεροι elders ἔπεσαν — ἔπεσαν fell καὶ — καὶ and– προσεκύνησαν — προσεκύνησαν worshiped {ζῶντι — {ζῶντι living εἰς — εἰς into τοὺς — τοὺς the αἰωνας — αἰωνας ages τῶν — τῶν of–the αἰώνων}. — αἰώνων}. ages
And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
