Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
2 כִּֽי־ — כִּֽי־ for אַתָּ֤ה ׀ — אַתָּ֤ה ׀ You אֱלֹהֵ֣י — אֱלֹהֵ֣י are–God–of מָֽעוּזִּי֮ — מָֽעוּזִּי֮ my–refuge לָמָ֪ה — לָמָ֪ה why זְנַ֫חְתָּ֥נִי — זְנַ֫חְתָּ֥נִי have–You–rejected–me לָֽמָּה־ — לָֽמָּה־ why קֹדֵ֥ר — קֹדֵ֥ר in–mourning אֶתְהַלֵּ֗ךְ — אֶתְהַלֵּ֗ךְ do–I–walk בְּלַ֣חַץ — בְּלַ֣חַץ because–of–oppression–of אוֹיֵֽב׃ — אוֹיֵֽב׃ the–enemy
For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
3 שְׁלַח־ — שְׁלַח־ send–out אוֹרְךָ֣ — אוֹרְךָ֣ Your–light וַ֭אֲמִתְּךָ — וַ֭אֲמִתְּךָ and–Your–truth הֵ֣מָּה — הֵ֣מָּה they יַנְח֑וּנִי — יַנְח֑וּנִי will–lead–me יְבִיא֥וּנִי — יְבִיא֥וּנִי will–bring–me אֶל־ — אֶל־ to הַֽר־ — הַֽר־ mountain–of קָ֝דְשְׁךָ֗ — קָ֝דְשְׁךָ֗ Your–holiness וְאֶל־ — וְאֶל־ and–to מִשְׁכְּנוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ — מִשְׁכְּנוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ Your–dwelling–places
O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
4 וְאָב֤וֹאָה ׀ — וְאָב֤וֹאָה ׀ and–I–will–come אֶל־ — אֶל־ to מִזְבַּ֬ח — מִזְבַּ֬ח altar–of אֱלֹהִ֗ים — אֱלֹהִ֗ים God אֶל־ — אֶל־ to אֵל֮ — אֵל֮ God שִׂמְחַ֪ת — שִׂמְחַ֪ת joy–of גִּ֫ילִ֥י — גִּ֫ילִ֥י my–gladness וְאוֹדְךָ֥ — וְאוֹדְךָ֥ and–I–will–praise–You בְכִנּ֗וֹר — בְכִנּ֗וֹר with–the–lyre אֱלֹהִ֥ים — אֱלֹהִ֥ים O–God אֱלֹהָֽי׃ — אֱלֹהָֽי׃ my–God
Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.
5 מַה־ — מַה־ why תִּשְׁתּ֬וֹחֲחִ֨י ׀ — תִּשְׁתּ֬וֹחֲחִ֨י ׀ are–you–cast–down נַפְשִׁי֮ — נַפְשִׁי֮ my–soul וּֽמַה־ — וּֽמַה־ and–why תֶּהֱמִ֪י — תֶּהֱמִ֪י are–you–in–turmoil עָ֫לָ֥י — עָ֫לָ֥י within–me הוֹחִ֣ילִי — הוֹחִ֣ילִי hope לֵֽ֭אלֹהִים — לֵֽ֭אלֹהִים in–God כִּי־ — כִּי־ for ע֣וֹד — ע֣וֹד again אוֹדֶ֑נּוּ — אוֹדֶ֑נּוּ I–will–praise–Him יְשׁוּעֹ֥ת — יְשׁוּעֹ֥ת salvations–of פָּ֝נַ֗י — פָּ֝נַ֗י my–face וֵֽאלֹהָֽי׃ — וֵֽאלֹהָֽי׃ and–my–God
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
