And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
4 καὶ And καὶ — ἀναβλέψασαι looking–up ἀναβλέψασαι — θεωροῦσιν they–see θεωροῦσιν — ὅτι that ὅτι — ἀποκεκύλισται had–been–rolled–away ἀποκεκύλισται — ὁ the ὁ — λίθος; stone λίθος; — ἦν it–was ἦν — γὰρ for γὰρ — μέγας extremely μέγας — σφόδρα. large σφόδρα. —
And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.
8 καὶ And καὶ — ἐξελθοῦσαι, going–out ἐξελθοῦσαι, — ἔφυγον they–fled ἔφυγον — ἀπὸ from ἀπὸ — τοῦ the τοῦ — μνημείου. tomb μνημείου. — εἶχεν was–gripping εἶχεν — γὰρ for γὰρ — αὐτὰς them αὐτὰς — τρόμος trembling τρόμος — καὶ and καὶ — ἔκστασις, astonishment ἔκστασις, — καὶ and καὶ — οὐδενὶ to–no–one οὐδενὶ — οὐδὲν anything οὐδὲν — εἶπαν; they–said εἶπαν; — ἐφοβοῦντο they–were–afraid ἐφοβοῦντο — γάρ. for γάρ. —
And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.
9 «Ἀναστὰς Now–having–risen «Ἀναστὰς — δὲ — δὲ — πρωῒ early πρωῒ — πρώτῃ on–the–first–day πρώτῃ — σαββάτου, of–the–week σαββάτου, — ἐφάνη He–appeared ἐφάνη — πρῶτον first πρῶτον — Μαρίᾳ to–Mary Μαρίᾳ — τῇ the τῇ — Μαγδαληνῇ, Magdalene Μαγδαληνῇ, — παρ’ from παρ’ — ἧς whom ἧς — ἐκβεβλήκει He–had–cast–out ἐκβεβλήκει — ἑπτὰ seven ἑπτὰ — δαιμόνια. demons δαιμόνια. —
Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11 κἀκεῖνοι, And–those κἀκεῖνοι, — ἀκούσαντες having–heard ἀκούσαντες — ὅτι that ὅτι — ζῇ He–was–alive ζῇ — καὶ and καὶ — ἐθεάθη had–been–seen ἐθεάθη — ὑπ’ by ὑπ’ — αὐτῆς, her αὐτῆς, — ἠπίστησαν. did–not–believe ἠπίστησαν. —
And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.
12 Μετὰ After Μετὰ — δὲ now δὲ — ταῦτα, these–things ταῦτα, — δυσὶν to–two δυσὶν — ἐξ of ἐξ — αὐτῶν them αὐτῶν — περιπατοῦσιν, walking περιπατοῦσιν, — ἐφανερώθη He–appeared ἐφανερώθη — ἐν in ἐν — ἑτέρᾳ a–different ἑτέρᾳ — μορφῇ, form μορφῇ, — πορευομένοις as–they–were–going πορευομένοις — εἰς into εἰς — ἀγρόν; the–country ἀγρόν; —
After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.
13 κἀκεῖνοι, And–those κἀκεῖνοι, — ἀπελθόντες, having–gone–away ἀπελθόντες, — ἀπήγγειλαν reported ἀπήγγειλαν — τοῖς to–the τοῖς — λοιποῖς; rest λοιποῖς; — οὐδὲ not–even οὐδὲ — ἐκείνοις those ἐκείνοις — ἐπίστευσαν. did–they–believe ἐπίστευσαν. —
And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.
14 Ὕστερον Later Ὕστερον — δὲ as δὲ — ἀνακειμένοις they–were–reclining–at–table ἀνακειμένοις — αὐτοῖς, — αὐτοῖς, — τοῖς to–the τοῖς — ἕνδεκα eleven ἕνδεκα — ἐφανερώθη, He–appeared ἐφανερώθη, — καὶ and καὶ — ὠνείδισεν He–rebuked ὠνείδισεν — τὴν the τὴν — ἀπιστίαν unbelief ἀπιστίαν — αὐτῶν of–them αὐτῶν — καὶ and καὶ — σκληροκαρδίαν-- hardness–of–heart σκληροκαρδίαν-- — ὅτι because ὅτι — τοῖς those–who τοῖς — θεασαμένοις had–seen θεασαμένοις — αὐτὸν Him αὐτὸν — ἐγηγερμένον risen ἐγηγερμένον — (ἐκ from (ἐκ — νεκρῶν), the–dead νεκρῶν), — οὐκ not ἐπίστευσαν. they–believed
Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
15 καὶ And καὶ — εἶπεν He–said εἶπεν — αὐτοῖς, to–them αὐτοῖς, — Πορευθέντες Go Πορευθέντες — εἰς into εἰς — τὸν all τὸν — κόσμον the–world κόσμον — ἅπαντα, all ἅπαντα, — κηρύξατε proclaim κηρύξατε — τὸ the τὸ — εὐαγγέλιον gospel εὐαγγέλιον — πάσῃ to–every πάσῃ — τῇ the τῇ — κτίσει. creature κτίσει. —
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 ὁ The–one–who ὁ — πιστεύσας, believes πιστεύσας, — καὶ and καὶ — βαπτισθεὶς, is–baptized βαπτισθεὶς, — σωθήσεται, will–be–saved σωθήσεται, — ὁ but–the–one–who ὁ — δὲ — δὲ — ἀπιστήσας disbelieves ἀπιστήσας — κατακριθήσεται. will–be–condemned κατακριθήσεται. —
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 σημεῖα signs σημεῖα — δὲ And δὲ — τοῖς those–who τοῖς — πιστεύσασιν believe πιστεύσασιν — ταῦτα; these ταῦτα; — παρακολουθήσει will–accompany παρακολουθήσει — ἐν in ἐν — τῷ the τῷ — ὀνόματί name ὀνόματί — μου of–Me μου — δαιμόνια demons δαιμόνια — ἐκβαλοῦσιν; they–will–cast–out ἐκβαλοῦσιν; — γλώσσαις in–tongues γλώσσαις — λαλήσουσιν they–will–speak λαλήσουσιν — καιναῖς; new καιναῖς; —
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 [και and [και — ἐν in ἐν — ταῖς the ταῖς — χερσὶν] hands χερσὶν] — ὄφεις serpents ὄφεις — ἀροῦσιν; they–will–pick–up ἀροῦσιν; — κἂν and–if κἂν — θανάσιμόν any–deadly–thing θανάσιμόν — τι anything τι — πίωσιν, they–drink πίωσιν, — οὐ in–no–way οὐ — μὴ — μὴ — αὐτοὺς them αὐτοὺς — βλάψῃ; will–it–harm βλάψῃ; — ἐπὶ upon ἐπὶ — ἀρρώστους, the–sick ἀρρώστους, — χεῖρας hands ἐπιθήσουσιν, they–will–lay καὶ and καλῶς well ἕξουσιν. they–will–become
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 Ὁ The Ὁ — μὲν indeed μὲν — οὖν then οὖν — Κύριος Lord Κύριος — Ἰησοῦς, Jesus Ἰησοῦς, — μετὰ after μετὰ — τὸ — τὸ — λαλῆσαι speaking λαλῆσαι — αὐτοῖς, to–them αὐτοῖς, — ἀνελήμφθη was–taken–up ἀνελήμφθη — εἰς into εἰς — τὸν — τὸν — οὐρανὸν, heaven οὐρανὸν, — καὶ and καὶ — ἐκάθισεν sat–down ἐκάθισεν — ἐκ at ἐκ — δεξιῶν the–right–hand δεξιῶν — τοῦ of τοῦ — Θεοῦ. God Θεοῦ. —
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 ἐκεῖνοι And–they ἐκεῖνοι — δὲ — δὲ — ἐξελθόντες, having–gone–out ἐξελθόντες, — ἐκήρυξαν proclaimed ἐκήρυξαν — πανταχοῦ, everywhere πανταχοῦ, — τοῦ the τοῦ — Κυρίου Lord Κυρίου — συνεργοῦντος, working–with–them συνεργοῦντος, — καὶ and καὶ — τὸν the τὸν — λόγον word λόγον — βεβαιοῦντος confirming βεβαιοῦντος — διὰ through διὰ — τῶν the τῶν — ἐπακολουθούντων accompanying ἐπακολουθούντων — σημείων»⇔. signs σημείων»⇔. — «[πάντα all–things δὲ And τὰ the–things παρηγγελμένα commanded τοῖς to–those περὶ around τὸν — Πέτρον Peter συντόμως briefly ἐξήγγειλαν, they–reported μετὰ after δὲ and ταῦτα. these–things καὶ also αὐτὸς Himself ὁ — Ἰησοῦς Jesus ἀπὸ, from ἀνατολῆς the–east καὶ and ἄχρι to δύσεως, the–west ἐξαπέστειλεν sent–out δι’ through αὐτῶν, them τὸ the ἱερὸν sacred καὶ and ἄφθαρτον imperishable κήρυγμα proclamation τῆς of αἰωνίου eternal σωτηρίας. salvation ἀμήν]». Amen
And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
