2 שְׁמַ֤ע — שְׁמַ֤ע hear ק֣וֹל — ק֣וֹל the–voice–of תַּ֭חֲנוּנַי — תַּ֭חֲנוּנַי my–pleas–for–mercy בְּשַׁוְּעִ֣י — בְּשַׁוְּעִ֣י when–I–cry אֵלֶ֑יךָ — אֵלֶ֑יךָ to–you בְּנָשְׂאִ֥י — בְּנָשְׂאִ֥י when–I–lift–up יָ֝דַ֗י — יָ֝דַ֗י my–hands אֶל־ — אֶל־ toward– דְּבִ֥יר — דְּבִ֥יר the–inner–sanctuary–of קָדְשֶֽׁךָ׃ — קָדְשֶֽׁךָ׃ your–holiness
Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.
3 אַל־ — אַל־ not– תִּמְשְׁכֵ֣נִי — תִּמְשְׁכֵ֣נִי drag–me–away עִם־ — עִם־ with– רְשָׁעִים֮ — רְשָׁעִים֮ the–wicked וְעִם־ — וְעִם־ and–with– פֹּ֪עֲלֵ֫י — פֹּ֪עֲלֵ֫י workers–of אָ֥וֶן — אָ֥וֶן iniquity דֹּבְרֵ֣י — דֹּבְרֵ֣י those–speaking שָׁ֭לוֹם — שָׁ֭לוֹם peace עִם־ — עִם־ with– רֵֽעֵיהֶ֑ם — רֵֽעֵיהֶ֑ם their–neighbors וְ֝רָעָ֗ה — וְ֝רָעָ֗ה while–evil בִּלְבָבָֽם׃ — בִּלְבָבָֽם׃ is–in–their–hearts
Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.
4 תֶּן־ — תֶּן־ give– לָהֶ֣ם — לָהֶ֣ם to–them כְּפָעֳלָם֮ — כְּפָעֳלָם֮ according–to–their–deeds וּכְרֹ֪עַ — וּכְרֹ֪עַ and–according–to–the–evil–of מַֽעַלְלֵ֫יהֶ֥ם — מַֽעַלְלֵ֫יהֶ֥ם their–practices כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה — כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה according–to–the–work–of יְ֭דֵיהֶם — יְ֭דֵיהֶם their–hands תֵּ֣ן — תֵּ֣ן give לָהֶ֑ם — לָהֶ֑ם to–them הָשֵׁ֖ב — הָשֵׁ֖ב repay גְּמוּלָ֣ם — גְּמוּלָ֣ם their–recompense לָהֶֽם׃ — לָהֶֽם׃ to–them
Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.
5 כִּ֤י — כִּ֤י because לֹ֤א — לֹ֤א not יָבִ֡ינוּ — יָבִ֡ינוּ they–regard אֶל־ — אֶל־ – פְּעֻלֹּ֣ת — פְּעֻלֹּ֣ת the–works–of יְ֭הוָה — יְ֭הוָה YHWH וְאֶל־ — וְאֶל־ and– מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה — מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה the–work–of יָדָ֑יו — יָדָ֑יו his–hands יֶ֝הֶרְסֵ֗ם — יֶ֝הֶרְסֵ֗ם he–will–tear–them–down וְלֹ֣א — וְלֹ֣א and–not יִבְנֵֽם׃ — יִבְנֵֽם׃ build–them–up
Because they regard not the works of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.
6 בָּר֥וּךְ — בָּר֥וּךְ blessed יְהוָ֑ה — יְהוָ֑ה YHWH כִּי־ — כִּי־ for– שָׁ֝מַע — שָׁ֝מַע he–has–heard ק֣וֹל — ק֣וֹל the–voice–of תַּחֲנוּנָֽי׃ — תַּחֲנוּנָֽי׃ my–pleas–for–mercy
Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
7 יְהוָ֤ה ׀ — יְהוָ֤ה ׀ YHWH עֻזִּ֥י — עֻזִּ֥י is–my–strength וּמָגִנִּי֮ — וּמָגִנִּי֮ and–my–shield בּ֤וֹ — בּ֤וֹ in–him בָטַ֥ח — בָטַ֥ח trusts לִבִּ֗י — לִבִּ֗י my–heart וְֽנֶ֫עֱזָ֥רְתִּי — וְֽנֶ֫עֱזָ֥רְתִּי and–I–am–helped וַיַּעֲלֹ֥ז — וַיַּעֲלֹ֥ז and–exults לִבִּ֑י — לִבִּ֑י my–heart וּֽמִשִּׁירִ֥י — וּֽמִשִּׁירִ֥י and–with–my–song אֲהוֹדֶֽנּוּ׃ — אֲהוֹדֶֽנּוּ׃ I–give–thanks–to–him
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
8 יְהוָ֥ה — יְהוָ֥ה YHWH עֹֽז־ — עֹֽז־ is–strength– לָ֑מוֹ — לָ֑מוֹ for–them וּמָ֘ע֤וֹז — וּמָ֘ע֤וֹז and–the–refuge–of יְשׁוּע֖וֹת — יְשׁוּע֖וֹת salvations–of מְשִׁיח֣וֹ — מְשִׁיח֣וֹ his–anointed הֽוּא׃ — הֽוּא׃ he
The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.
9 הוֹשִׁ֤יעָה ׀ — הוֹשִׁ֤יעָה ׀ save אֶת־ — אֶת־ – עַמֶּ֗ךָ — עַמֶּ֗ךָ your–people וּבָרֵ֥ךְ — וּבָרֵ֥ךְ and–bless אֶת־ — אֶת־ – נַחֲלָתֶ֑ךָ — נַחֲלָתֶ֑ךָ your–inheritance וּֽרְעֵ֥ם — וּֽרְעֵ֥ם and–shepherd–them וְ֝נַשְּׂאֵ֗ם — וְ֝נַשְּׂאֵ֗ם and–carry–them עַד־ — עַד־ forever– הָעוֹלָֽם׃ — הָעוֹלָֽם׃ and–ever
Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
