Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 כִּ֤י — כִּ֤י for אִ֥ם — אִ֥ם if בְּתוֹרַ֥ת — בְּתוֹרַ֥ת in–the–law–of יְהוָ֗ה — יְהוָ֗ה YHWH חֶ֫פְצ֥וֹ — חֶ֫פְצ֥וֹ his–delight וּֽבְתוֹרָת֥וֹ — וּֽבְתוֹרָת֥וֹ and–in–his–law יֶהְגֶּ֗ה — יֶהְגֶּ֗ה he–meditates יוֹמָ֥ם — יוֹמָ֥ם day וָלָֽיְלָה׃ — וָלָֽיְלָה׃ and–night
But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 וְֽהָיָ֗ה — וְֽהָיָ֗ה and–he–shall–be כְּעֵץ֮ — כְּעֵץ֮ like–a–tree שָׁת֪וּל — שָׁת֪וּל planted עַֽל־ — עַֽל־ by– פַּלְגֵ֫י — פַּלְגֵ֫י streams–of מָ֥יִם — מָ֥יִם water אֲשֶׁ֤ר — אֲשֶׁ֤ר which פִּרְי֨וֹ ׀ — פִּרְי֨וֹ ׀ its–fruit יִתֵּ֬ן — יִתֵּ֬ן yields בְּעִתּ֗וֹ — בְּעִתּ֗וֹ in–its–season וְעָלֵ֥הוּ — וְעָלֵ֥הוּ and–its–leaf לֹֽא־ — לֹֽא־ not– יִבּ֑וֹל — יִבּ֑וֹל withers וְכֹ֖ל — וְכֹ֖ל and–all אֲשֶׁר־ — אֲשֶׁר־ that– יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה — יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה he–does יַצְלִֽיחַ׃ — יַצְלִֽיחַ׃ prospers
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 לֹא־ — לֹא־ not– כֵ֥ן — כֵ֥ן so הָרְשָׁעִ֑ים — הָרְשָׁעִ֑ים the–wicked כִּ֥י — כִּ֥י for אִם־ — אִם־ if– כַּ֝מֹּ֗ץ — כַּ֝מֹּ֗ץ like–the–chaff אֲֽשֶׁר־ — אֲֽשֶׁר־ which– תִּדְּפֶ֥נּוּ — תִּדְּפֶ֥נּוּ drives–away רֽוּחַ׃ — רֽוּחַ׃ the–wind
The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 עַל־ — עַל־ upon– כֵּ֤ן ׀ — כֵּ֤ן ׀ thus לֹא־ — לֹא־ not– יָקֻ֣מוּ — יָקֻ֣מוּ shall–stand רְ֭שָׁעִים — רְ֭שָׁעִים the–wicked בַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט — בַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט in–the–judgment וְ֝חַטָּאִ֗ים — וְ֝חַטָּאִ֗ים and–sinners בַּעֲדַ֥ת — בַּעֲדַ֥ת in–the–assembly–of צַדִּיקִֽים׃ — צַדִּיקִֽים׃ the–righteous
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 כִּֽי־ — כִּֽי־ for– יוֹדֵ֣עַ — יוֹדֵ֣עַ knows יְ֭הוָה — יְ֭הוָה YHWH דֶּ֣רֶךְ — דֶּ֣רֶךְ the–way–of צַדִּיקִ֑ים — צַדִּיקִ֑ים the–righteous וְדֶ֖רֶךְ — וְדֶ֖רֶךְ and–the–way–of רְשָׁעִ֣ים — רְשָׁעִ֣ים the–wicked תֹּאבֵֽד׃ — תֹּאבֵֽד׃ perishes
For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
