3 וַיִּהְי֥וּ — וַיִּהְי֥וּ and–were בָנִ֖ים — בָנִ֖ים sons לְבָ֑לַע — לְבָ֑לַע to–Bela אַדָּ֥ר — אַדָּ֥ר Addar וְגֵרָ֖א — וְגֵרָ֖א and–Gera וַאֲבִיהֽוּד׃ — וַאֲבִיהֽוּד׃ and–Avihud
And the sons of Bela were, Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,
4 וַאֲבִישׁ֥וּעַ — וַאֲבִישׁ֥וּעַ and–Avishua וְנַעֲמָ֖ן — וְנַעֲמָ֖ן and–Naaman וַאֲחֽוֹחַ׃ — וַאֲחֽוֹחַ׃ and–Achoach
And Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,
5 וְגֵרָ֥א — וְגֵרָ֥א and–Gera וּשְׁפוּפָ֖ן — וּשְׁפוּפָ֖ן and–Shefufan וְחוּרָֽם׃ — וְחוּרָֽם׃ and–Churam
And Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
6 וְאֵ֖לֶּה — וְאֵ֖לֶּה and–these בְּנֵ֣י — בְּנֵ֣י sons-of אֵח֑וּד — אֵח֑וּד Echud אֵ֣לֶּה — אֵ֣לֶּה these הֵ֞ם — הֵ֞ם they רָאשֵׁ֤י — רָאשֵׁ֤י heads-of אָבוֹת֙ — אָבוֹת֙ fathers לְי֣וֹשְׁבֵי — לְי֣וֹשְׁבֵי to–dwellers-of גֶ֔בַע — גֶ֔בַע Geva וַיַּגְל֖וּם — וַיַּגְל֖וּם and–they–exiled–them אֶל־ — אֶל־ to מָנָֽחַת׃ — מָנָֽחַת׃ Manachat
And these are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Geba, and they removed them to Manahath:
7 וְנַעֲמָ֧ן — וְנַעֲמָ֧ן and–Naaman וַאֲחִיָּ֛ה — וַאֲחִיָּ֛ה and–Achiyah וְגֵרָ֖א — וְגֵרָ֖א and–Gera ה֣וּא — ה֣וּא he הֶגְלָ֑ם — הֶגְלָ֑ם exiled–them וְהוֹלִ֥יד — וְהוֹלִ֥יד and–he–fathered אֶת־ — אֶת־ [obj] עֻזָּ֖א — עֻזָּ֖א Uzza וְאֶת־ — וְאֶת־ and–[obj] אֲחִיחֻֽד׃ — אֲחִיחֻֽד׃ Achichud
And Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, he removed them, and begat Uzza, and Ahihud.
8 וְשַׁחֲרַ֗יִם — וְשַׁחֲרַ֗יִם and–Shacharayim הוֹלִיד֙ — הוֹלִיד֙ fathered בִּשְׂדֵ֣ה — בִּשְׂדֵ֣ה in–field-of מוֹאָ֔ב — מוֹאָ֔ב Moav מִן־ — מִן־ after שִׁלְח֖וֹ — שִׁלְח֖וֹ sending–away אֹתָ֑ם — אֹתָ֑ם them חוּשִׁ֥ים — חוּשִׁ֥ים Chushim וְאֶֽת־ — וְאֶֽת־ and–[obj] בַּעֲרָ֖א — בַּעֲרָ֖א Baara נָשָֽׁיו׃ — נָשָֽׁיו׃ his–wives
And Shaharaim begat children in the country of Moab, after he had sent them away; Hushim and Baara were his wives.
9 וַיּ֖וֹלֶד — וַיּ֖וֹלֶד and–he–fathered מִן־ — מִן־ from חֹ֣דֶשׁ — חֹ֣דֶשׁ Chodesh אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ — אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ his–wife אֶת־ — אֶת־ [obj] יוֹבָב֙ — יוֹבָב֙ Yovav וְאֶת־ — וְאֶת־ and–[obj] צִבְיָ֔א — צִבְיָ֔א Tsivya וְאֶת־ — וְאֶת־ and–[obj] מֵישָׁ֖א — מֵישָׁ֖א Mesha וְאֶת־ — וְאֶת־ and–[obj] מַלְכָּֽם׃ — מַלְכָּֽם׃ Malkam
And he begat of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,
10 וְאֶת־ — וְאֶת־ and–[obj] יְע֥וּץ — יְע֥וּץ Yeuts וְאֶת־ — וְאֶת־ and–[obj] שָֽׂכְיָ֖ה — שָֽׂכְיָ֖ה Sakhyah וְאֶת־ — וְאֶת־ and–[obj] מִרְמָ֑ה — מִרְמָ֑ה Mirmah אֵ֥לֶּה — אֵ֥לֶּה these בָנָ֖יו — בָנָ֖יו his–sons רָאשֵׁ֥י — רָאשֵׁ֥י heads-of אָבֽוֹת׃ — אָבֽוֹת׃ fathers
And Jeuz, and Shachia, and Mirma. These were his sons, heads of the fathers.
11 וּמֵחֻשִׁ֛ים — וּמֵחֻשִׁ֛ים and–from–Chushim הוֹלִ֥יד — הוֹלִ֥יד he–fathered אֶת־ — אֶת־ [obj] אֲבִיט֖וּב — אֲבִיט֖וּב Avituv וְאֶת־ — וְאֶת־ and–[obj] אֶלְפָּֽעַל׃ — אֶלְפָּֽעַל׃ Elpaal
And of Hushim he begat Abitub, and Elpaal.
12 וּבְנֵ֣י — וּבְנֵ֣י and–sons-of אֶלְפַּ֔עַל — אֶלְפַּ֔עַל Elpaal עֵ֥בֶר — עֵ֥בֶר Ever וּמִשְׁעָ֖ם — וּמִשְׁעָ֖ם and–Misham וָשָׁ֑מֶד — וָשָׁ֑מֶד and–Shamed ה֚וּא — ה֚וּא he בָּנָ֣ה — בָּנָ֣ה built אֶת־ — אֶת־ [obj] אוֹנ֔וֹ — אוֹנ֔וֹ Ono וְאֶת־ — וְאֶת־ and–[obj] לֹ֖ד — לֹ֖ד Lod וּבְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃ — וּבְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃ and–its–daughters
The sons of Elpaal; Eber, and Misham, and Shamed, who built Ono, and Lod, with the towns thereof:
13 וּבְרִעָ֣ה — וּבְרִעָ֣ה and–Beriah וָשֶׁ֔מַע — וָשֶׁ֔מַע and–Shema הֵ֚מָּה — הֵ֚מָּה they רָאשֵׁ֣י — רָאשֵׁ֣י heads-of הָאָב֔וֹת — הָאָב֔וֹת the–fathers לְיוֹשְׁבֵ֖י — לְיוֹשְׁבֵ֖י to–dwellers-of אַיָּל֑וֹן — אַיָּל֑וֹן Ayalon הֵ֥מָּה — הֵ֥מָּה they הִבְרִ֖יחוּ — הִבְרִ֖יחוּ drove–out אֶת־ — אֶת־ [obj] י֥וֹשְׁבֵי — י֥וֹשְׁבֵי dwellers-of גַֽת׃ — גַֽת׃ Gat
Beriah also, and Shema, who were heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who drove away the inhabitants of Gath:
14 וְאַחְי֥וֹ — וְאַחְי֥וֹ and–Achyo שָׁשָׁ֖ק — שָׁשָׁ֖ק Shashaq וִירֵמֽוֹת׃ — וִירֵמֽוֹת׃ and–Yeremot
And Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,
15 וּזְבַדְיָ֥ה — וּזְבַדְיָ֥ה and–Zevadyah וַעֲרָ֖ד — וַעֲרָ֖ד and–Arad וָעָֽדֶר׃ — וָעָֽדֶר׃ and–Eder
And Zebadiah, and Arad, and Ader,
16 וּמִיכָאֵ֧ל — וּמִיכָאֵ֧ל and–Mikhael וְיִשְׁפָּ֛ה — וְיִשְׁפָּ֛ה and–Yishpah וְיוֹחָ֖א — וְיוֹחָ֖א and–Yocha בְּנֵ֥י — בְּנֵ֥י sons-of בְרִיעָֽה׃ — בְרִיעָֽה׃ Beriah
And Michael, and Ispah, and Joha, the sons of Beriah;
17 וּזְבַדְיָ֥ה — וּזְבַדְיָ֥ה and–Zevadyah וּמְשֻׁלָּ֖ם — וּמְשֻׁלָּ֖ם and–Meshullam וְחִזְקִ֥י — וְחִזְקִ֥י and–Chizqi וָחָֽבֶר׃ — וָחָֽבֶר׃ and–Chever
And Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hezeki, and Heber,
18 וְיִשְׁמְרַ֧י — וְיִשְׁמְרַ֧י and–Yishmeray וְיִזְלִיאָ֛ה — וְיִזְלִיאָ֛ה and–Yizliah וְיוֹבָ֖ב — וְיוֹבָ֖ב and–Yovav בְּנֵ֥י — בְּנֵ֥י sons-of אֶלְפָּֽעַל׃ — אֶלְפָּֽעַל׃ Elpaal
Ishmerai also, and Jezliah, and Jobab, the sons of Elpaal;
19 וְיָקִ֥ים — וְיָקִ֥ים and–Yaqim וְזִכְרִ֖י — וְזִכְרִ֖י and–Zikhri וְזַבְדִּֽי׃ — וְזַבְדִּֽי׃ and–Zavdi
And Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,
20 וֶאֱלִיעֵנַ֥י — וֶאֱלִיעֵנַ֥י and–Elienay וְצִלְּתַ֖י — וְצִלְּתַ֖י and–Tsilletay וֶאֱלִיאֵֽל׃ — וֶאֱלִיאֵֽל׃ and–Eliel
And Elienai, and Zilthai, and Eliel,
21 וַעֲדָיָ֧ה — וַעֲדָיָ֧ה and–Adayah וּבְרָאיָ֛ה — וּבְרָאיָ֛ה and–Berayah וְשִׁמְרָ֖ת — וְשִׁמְרָ֖ת and–Shimrat בְּנֵ֥י — בְּנֵ֥י sons-of שִׁמְעִֽי׃ — שִׁמְעִֽי׃ Shimi
And Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, the sons of Shimhi;
22 וְיִשְׁפָּ֥ן — וְיִשְׁפָּ֥ן and–Yishpan וָעֵ֖בֶר — וָעֵ֖בֶר and–Ever וֶאֱלִיאֵֽל׃ — וֶאֱלִיאֵֽל׃ and–Eliel
And Ishpan, and Heber, and Eliel,
23 וְעַבְדּ֥וֹן — וְעַבְדּ֥וֹן and–Avdon וְזִכְרִ֖י — וְזִכְרִ֖י and–Zikhri וְחָנָֽן׃ — וְחָנָֽן׃ and–Chanan
And Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,
24 וַחֲנַנְיָ֥ה — וַחֲנַנְיָ֥ה and–Chananyah וְעֵילָ֖ם — וְעֵילָ֖ם and–Elam וְעַנְתֹתִיָּֽה׃ — וְעַנְתֹתִיָּֽה׃ and–Antotiyah
And Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,
25 וְיִפְדְיָ֥ה — וְיִפְדְיָ֥ה and–Yifdeiyah [ופניאל] — [ופניאל] [ketiv] (וּפְנוּאֵ֖ל) — (וּפְנוּאֵ֖ל) and–Penuel בְּנֵ֥י — בְּנֵ֥י sons-of שָׁשָֽׁק׃ — שָׁשָֽׁק׃ Shashaq
And Iphedeiah, and Penuel, the sons of Shashak;
26 וְשַׁמְשְׁרַ֥י — וְשַׁמְשְׁרַ֥י and–Shamsheray וּשְׁחַרְיָ֖ה — וּשְׁחַרְיָ֖ה and–Shecharyah וַעֲתַלְיָֽה׃ — וַעֲתַלְיָֽה׃ and–Atalyah
And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,
27 וְיַעֲרֶשְׁיָ֧ה — וְיַעֲרֶשְׁיָ֧ה and–Yaareshyah וְאֵלִיָּ֛ה — וְאֵלִיָּ֛ה and–Eliyah וְזִכְרִ֖י — וְזִכְרִ֖י and–Zikhri בְּנֵ֥י — בְּנֵ֥י sons-of יְרֹחָֽם׃ — יְרֹחָֽם׃ Yerocham
And Jaresiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, the sons of Jeroham.
28 אֵ֣לֶּה — אֵ֣לֶּה these רָאשֵׁ֥י — רָאשֵׁ֥י heads-of אָב֛וֹת — אָב֛וֹת fathers לְתֹלְדוֹתָ֖ם — לְתֹלְדוֹתָ֖ם in–their–generations רָאשִׁ֑ים — רָאשִׁ֑ים heads אֵ֖לֶּה — אֵ֖לֶּה these יָשְׁב֥וּ — יָשְׁב֥וּ dwelt בִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ — בִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ in–Yerushalayim ס — ס [section]
These were heads of the fathers, by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem.
29 וּבְגִבְע֥וֹן — וּבְגִבְע֥וֹן and–in–Givon יָשְׁב֖וּ — יָשְׁב֖וּ dwelt אֲבִ֣י — אֲבִ֣י father-of גִבְע֑וֹן — גִבְע֑וֹן Givon וְשֵׁ֥ם — וְשֵׁ֥ם and–name-of אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ — אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ his–wife מַעֲכָֽה׃ — מַעֲכָֽה׃ Maakhah
And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; whose wife’s name was Maachah:
30 וּבְנ֥וֹ — וּבְנ֥וֹ and–his–son הַבְּכ֖וֹר — הַבְּכ֖וֹר the–firstborn עַבְדּ֑וֹן — עַבְדּ֑וֹן Avdon וְצ֥וּר — וְצ֥וּר and–Tsur וְקִ֖ישׁ — וְקִ֖ישׁ and–Qish וּבַ֥עַל — וּבַ֥עַל and–Baal וְנָדָֽב׃ — וְנָדָֽב׃ and–Nadav
And his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,
31 וּגְד֥וֹר — וּגְד֥וֹר and–Gedor וְאַחְי֖וֹ — וְאַחְי֖וֹ and–Achyo וָזָֽכֶר׃ — וָזָֽכֶר׃ and–Zekher
And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher.
32 וּמִקְל֖וֹת — וּמִקְל֖וֹת and–Miqlot הוֹלִ֣יד — הוֹלִ֣יד fathered אֶת־ — אֶת־ [obj] שִׁמְאָ֑ה — שִׁמְאָ֑ה Shimeah וְאַף־ — וְאַף־ and–also הֵ֗מָּה — הֵ֗מָּה they נֶ֧גֶד — נֶ֧גֶד opposite אֲחֵיהֶ֛ם — אֲחֵיהֶ֛ם their–brothers יָשְׁב֥וּ — יָשְׁב֥וּ dwelt בִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם — בִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם in–Yerushalayim עִם־ — עִם־ with אֲחֵיהֶֽם׃ — אֲחֵיהֶֽם׃ their–brothers ס — ס [section]
And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against them.
33 וְנֵר֙ — וְנֵר֙ and–Ner הוֹלִ֣יד — הוֹלִ֣יד fathered אֶת־ — אֶת־ [obj] קִ֔ישׁ — קִ֔ישׁ Qish וְקִ֖ישׁ — וְקִ֖ישׁ and–Qish הוֹלִ֣יד — הוֹלִ֣יד fathered אֶת־ — אֶת־ [obj] שָׁא֑וּל — שָׁא֑וּל Shaul וְשָׁא֗וּל — וְשָׁא֗וּל and–Shaul הוֹלִ֤יד — הוֹלִ֤יד fathered אֶת־ — אֶת־ [obj] יְהֽוֹנָתָן֙ — יְהֽוֹנָתָן֙ Yehonatan וְאֶת־ — וְאֶת־ and–[obj] מַלְכִּי־שׁ֔וּעַ — מַלְכִּי־שׁ֔וּעַ Malki-Shua וְאֶת־ — וְאֶת־ and–[obj] אֲבִֽינָדָ֖ב — אֲבִֽינָדָ֖ב Avinadav וְאֶת־ — וְאֶת־ and–[obj] אֶשְׁבָּֽעַל׃ — אֶשְׁבָּֽעַל׃ Eshbaal
And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi–shua, and Abinadab, and Esh–baal.
34 וּבֶן־ — וּבֶן־ and–son-of יְהוֹנָתָ֖ן — יְהוֹנָתָ֖ן Yehonatan מְרִ֣יב בָּ֑עַל — מְרִ֣יב בָּ֑עַל Meriv-Baal וּמְרִ֥יב בַּ֖עַל — וּמְרִ֥יב בַּ֖עַל and–Meriv-Baal הוֹלִ֥יד — הוֹלִ֥יד fathered אֶת־ — אֶת־ [obj] מִיכָֽה׃ — מִיכָֽה׃ Mikhah ס — ס [section]
And the son of Jonathan was Merib–baal; and Merib–baal begat Micah.
35 וּבְנֵ֖י — וּבְנֵ֖י and–sons-of מִיכָ֑ה — מִיכָ֑ה Mikhah פִּית֥וֹן — פִּית֥וֹן Piton וָמֶ֖לֶךְ — וָמֶ֖לֶךְ and–Melekh וְתַאְרֵ֥עַ — וְתַאְרֵ֥עַ and–Tarea וְאָחָֽז׃ — וְאָחָֽז׃ and–Achaz
And the sons of Micah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.

37 וּמוֹצָ֖א — וּמוֹצָ֖א and–Motsa הוֹלִ֣יד — הוֹלִ֣יד fathered אֶת־ — אֶת־ [obj] בִּנְעָ֑א — בִּנְעָ֑א Binea רָפָ֥ה — רָפָ֥ה Rafah בְנ֛וֹ — בְנ֛וֹ his–son אֶלְעָשָׂ֥ה — אֶלְעָשָׂ֥ה Elasah בְנ֖וֹ — בְנ֖וֹ his–son אָצֵ֥ל — אָצֵ֥ל Atsel בְּנֽוֹ׃ — בְּנֽוֹ׃ his–son
And Moza begat Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son:
38 וּלְאָצֵל֮ — וּלְאָצֵל֮ and–to–Atsel שִׁשָּׁ֣ה — שִׁשָּׁ֣ה six בָנִים֒ — בָנִים֒ sons וְאֵ֣לֶּה — וְאֵ֣לֶּה and–these שְׁמוֹתָ֗ם — שְׁמוֹתָ֗ם their–names עַזְרִיקָ֥ם ׀ — עַזְרִיקָ֥ם ׀ Azriqam בֹּ֙כְרוּ֙ — בֹּ֙כְרוּ֙ Bokhru וְיִשְׁמָעֵ֣אל — וְיִשְׁמָעֵ֣אל and–Yishmael וּשְׁעַרְיָ֔ה — וּשְׁעַרְיָ֔ה and–Shearyah וְעֹבַדְיָ֖ה — וְעֹבַדְיָ֖ה and–Ovadyah וְחָנָ֑ן — וְחָנָ֑ן and–Chanan כָּל־ — כָּל־ all אֵ֖לֶּה — אֵ֖לֶּה these בְּנֵ֥י — בְּנֵ֥י sons-of אָצַֽל׃ — אָצַֽל׃ Atsal
And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
39 וּבְנֵ֖י — וּבְנֵ֖י and–sons-of עֵ֣שֶׁק — עֵ֣שֶׁק Esheq אָחִ֑יו — אָחִ֑יו his–brother אוּלָ֣ם — אוּלָ֣ם Ulam בְּכֹר֔וֹ — בְּכֹר֔וֹ his–firstborn יְעוּשׁ֙ — יְעוּשׁ֙ Yeush הַשֵּׁנִ֔י — הַשֵּׁנִ֔י the–second וֶֽאֱלִיפֶ֖לֶט — וֶֽאֱלִיפֶ֖לֶט and–Elifelet הַשְּׁלִשִֽׁי׃ — הַשְּׁלִשִֽׁי׃ the–third
And the sons of Eshek his brother were, Ulam his firstborn, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40 וַֽיִּהְי֣וּ — וַֽיִּהְי֣וּ and–were בְנֵי־ — בְנֵי־ sons-of א֠וּלָם — א֠וּלָם Ulam אֲנָשִׁ֨ים — אֲנָשִׁ֨ים men גִּבֹּרֵי־ — גִּבֹּרֵי־ mighty-men-of חַ֜יִל — חַ֜יִל valor דֹּ֣רְכֵי — דֹּ֣רְכֵי treaders-of קֶ֗שֶׁת — קֶ֗שֶׁת bow וּמַרְבִּ֤ים — וּמַרְבִּ֤ים and–multiplying בָּנִים֙ — בָּנִים֙ sons וּבְנֵ֣י — וּבְנֵ֣י and–sons-of בָנִ֔ים — בָנִ֔ים sons מֵאָ֖ה — מֵאָ֖ה hundred וַחֲמִשִּׁ֑ים — וַחֲמִשִּׁ֑ים and–fifty כָּל־ — כָּל־ all אֵ֖לֶּה — אֵ֖לֶּה these מִבְּנֵ֥י — מִבְּנֵ֥י from–sons-of בִנְיָמִֽן׃ — בִנְיָמִֽן׃ Binyamin פ — פ [paragraph]
And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, and had many sons, and sons’ sons, an hundred and fifty. All these are of the sons of Benjamin.
