Now these were the sons of David, which were born unto him in Hebron; the firstborn Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess:
2 הַשְּׁלִשִׁי֙ — הַשְּׁלִשִׁי֙ the–third לְאַבְשָׁל֣וֹם — לְאַבְשָׁל֣וֹם to–Avshalom בֶּֽן־ — בֶּֽן־ son-of מַעֲכָ֔ה — מַעֲכָ֔ה Ma'akhah בַּת־ — בַּת־ daughter-of תַּלְמַ֖י — תַּלְמַ֖י Talmai מֶ֣לֶךְ — מֶ֣לֶךְ king-of גְּשׁ֑וּר — גְּשׁ֑וּר Geshur הָרְבִיעִ֖י — הָרְבִיעִ֖י the–fourth אֲדֹנִיָּ֥ה — אֲדֹנִיָּ֥ה Adoniyah בֶן־ — בֶן־ son-of חַגִּֽית׃ — חַגִּֽית׃ Chaggith
The third, Absalom the son of Maachah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur: the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith:
3 הַחֲמִישִׁ֥י — הַחֲמִישִׁ֥י the–fifth שְׁפַטְיָ֖ה — שְׁפַטְיָ֖ה Shephatyah לַאֲבִיטָ֑ל — לַאֲבִיטָ֑ל to–Avital הַשִּׁשִּׁ֥י — הַשִּׁשִּׁ֥י the–sixth יִתְרְעָ֖ם — יִתְרְעָ֖ם Yithre'am לְעֶגְלָ֥ה — לְעֶגְלָ֥ה to–Eglah אִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃ — אִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃ his–wife
The fifth, Shephatiah of Abital: the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife.
4 שִׁשָּׁה֙ — שִׁשָּׁה֙ six נֽוֹלַד־ — נֽוֹלַד־ were-born ל֣וֹ — ל֣וֹ to–him בְחֶבְר֔וֹן — בְחֶבְר֔וֹן in–Chevron וַיִּ֨מְלָךְ־ — וַיִּ֨מְלָךְ־ and–he–reigned שָׁ֔ם — שָׁ֔ם there שֶׁ֥בַע — שֶׁ֥בַע seven שָׁנִ֖ים — שָׁנִ֖ים years וְשִׁשָּׁ֣ה — וְשִׁשָּׁ֣ה and–six חֳדָשִׁ֑ים — חֳדָשִׁ֑ים months וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים — וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים and–thirty וְשָׁלוֹשׁ֙ — וְשָׁלוֹשׁ֙ and–three שָׁנָ֔ה — שָׁנָ֔ה year מָלַ֖ךְ — מָלַ֖ךְ he–reigned בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ — בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ in–Yerushalayim ס — ס [P]
These six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years.
5 וְאֵ֥לֶּה — וְאֵ֥לֶּה and–these נוּלְּדוּ־ — נוּלְּדוּ־ were-born ל֖וֹ — ל֖וֹ to–him בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑יִם — בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑יִם in–Yerushalayim שִׁ֠מְעָא — שִׁ֠מְעָא Shim'a וְשׁוֹבָ֞ב — וְשׁוֹבָ֞ב and–Shovav וְנָתָ֤ן — וְנָתָ֤ן and–Nathan וּשְׁלֹמֹה֙ — וּשְׁלֹמֹה֙ and–Shelomoh אַרְבָּעָ֔ה — אַרְבָּעָ֔ה four לְבַת־שׁ֖וּעַ — לְבַת־שׁ֖וּעַ to–Bath-Shua בַּת־ — בַּת־ daughter-of עַמִּיאֵֽל׃ — עַמִּיאֵֽל׃ Ammi'el
And these were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bath–shua the daughter of Ammiel:
6 וְיִבְחָ֥ר — וְיִבְחָ֥ר and–Yivchar וֶאֱלִישָׁמָ֖ע — וֶאֱלִישָׁמָ֖ע and–Elishama וֶאֱלִיפָֽלֶט׃ — וֶאֱלִיפָֽלֶט׃ and–Eliphalet
Ibhar also, and Elishama, and Eliphelet,
7 וְנֹ֥גַהּ — וְנֹ֥גַהּ and–Nogah וְנֶ֖פֶג — וְנֶ֖פֶג and–Nepheg וְיָפִֽיעַ׃ — וְיָפִֽיעַ׃ and–Yaphi'a
And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,
8 וֶאֱלִישָׁמָ֧ע — וֶאֱלִישָׁמָ֧ע and–Elishama וְאֶלְיָדָ֛ע — וְאֶלְיָדָ֛ע and–Elyada וֶאֱלִיפֶ֖לֶט — וֶאֱלִיפֶ֖לֶט and–Eliphelet תִּשְׁעָֽה׃ — תִּשְׁעָֽה׃ nine
And Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.
9 כֹּ֖ל — כֹּ֖ל all בְּנֵ֣י — בְּנֵ֣י sons-of דָוִ֑יד — דָוִ֑יד David מִלְּבַ֥ד — מִלְּבַ֥ד besides בְּֽנֵי־ — בְּֽנֵי־ sons-of פִֽילַגְשִׁ֖ים — פִֽילַגְשִׁ֖ים concubines וְתָמָ֥ר — וְתָמָ֥ר and–Tamar אֲחוֹתָֽם׃ — אֲחוֹתָֽם׃ their–sister פ — פ [S]
These were all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines, and Tamar their sister.
10 וּבֶן־ — וּבֶן־ and–son-of שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה — שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה Shelomoh רְחַבְעָ֑ם — רְחַבְעָ֑ם Rechav'am אֲבִיָּ֥ה — אֲבִיָּ֥ה Aviyah בְנ֛וֹ — בְנ֛וֹ his–son אָסָ֥א — אָסָ֥א Asa בְנ֖וֹ — בְנ֖וֹ his–son יְהוֹשָׁפָ֥ט — יְהוֹשָׁפָ֥ט Yehoshaphat בְּנֽוֹ׃ — בְּנֽוֹ׃ his–son
And Solomon’s son was Rehoboam, Abia his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,
11 יוֹרָ֥ם — יוֹרָ֥ם Yoram בְּנ֛וֹ — בְּנ֛וֹ his–son אֲחַזְיָ֥הוּ — אֲחַזְיָ֥הוּ Achazyahu בְנ֖וֹ — בְנ֖וֹ his–son יוֹאָ֥שׁ — יוֹאָ֥שׁ Yo'ash בְּנֽוֹ׃ — בְּנֽוֹ׃ his–son
Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,
12 אֲמַצְיָ֧הוּ — אֲמַצְיָ֧הוּ Amatsyahu בְנ֛וֹ — בְנ֛וֹ his–son עֲזַרְיָ֥ה — עֲזַרְיָ֥ה Azaryah בְנ֖וֹ — בְנ֖וֹ his–son יוֹתָ֥ם — יוֹתָ֥ם Yotham בְּנֽוֹ׃ — בְּנֽוֹ׃ his–son
Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,
13 אָחָ֥ז — אָחָ֥ז Achaz בְּנ֛וֹ — בְּנ֛וֹ his–son חִזְקִיָּ֥הוּ — חִזְקִיָּ֥הוּ Chizqiyahu בְנ֖וֹ — בְנ֖וֹ his–son מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה — מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה Menasheh בְנֽוֹ׃ — בְנֽוֹ׃ his–son
Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,
14 אָמ֥וֹן — אָמ֥וֹן Amon בְּנ֖וֹ — בְּנ֖וֹ his–son יֹאשִׁיָּ֥הוּ — יֹאשִׁיָּ֥הוּ Yoshiyahu בְנֽוֹ׃ — בְנֽוֹ׃ his–son
Amon his son, Josiah his son.
15 וּבְנֵי֙ — וּבְנֵי֙ and–sons-of יֹאשִׁיָּ֔הוּ — יֹאשִׁיָּ֔הוּ Yoshiyahu הַבְּכוֹר֙ — הַבְּכוֹר֙ the–firstborn יוֹחָנָ֔ן — יוֹחָנָ֔ן Yochanan הַשֵּׁנִ֖י — הַשֵּׁנִ֖י the–second יְהוֹיָקִ֑ים — יְהוֹיָקִ֑ים Yehoyaqim הַשְּׁלִשִׁי֙ — הַשְּׁלִשִׁי֙ the–third צִדְקִיָּ֔הוּ — צִדְקִיָּ֔הוּ Tsidqiyahu הָרְבִיעִ֖י — הָרְבִיעִ֖י the–fourth שַׁלּֽוּם׃ — שַׁלּֽוּם׃ Shallum
And the sons of Josiah were, the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.
16 וּבְנֵ֖י — וּבְנֵ֖י and–sons-of יְהוֹיָקִ֑ים — יְהוֹיָקִ֑ים Yehoyaqim יְכָנְיָ֥ה — יְכָנְיָ֥ה Yekhanyah בְנ֖וֹ — בְנ֖וֹ his–son צִדְקִיָּ֥ה — צִדְקִיָּ֥ה Tsidqiyah בְנֽוֹ׃ — בְנֽוֹ׃ his–son
And the sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son.
17 וּבְנֵי֙ — וּבְנֵי֙ and–sons-of יְכָנְיָ֣ה — יְכָנְיָ֣ה Yekhanyah אַסִּ֔ר — אַסִּ֔ר Assir שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵ֖ל — שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵ֖ל She'alti'el בְּנֽוֹ׃ — בְּנֽוֹ׃ his–son
And the sons of Jeconiah; Assir, Salathiel his son,
18 וּמַלְכִּירָ֥ם — וּמַלְכִּירָ֥ם and–Malkiram וּפְדָיָ֖ה — וּפְדָיָ֖ה and–Pedayah וְשֶׁנְאַצַּ֑ר — וְשֶׁנְאַצַּ֑ר and–Shen'atstsar יְקַמְיָ֥ה — יְקַמְיָ֥ה Yeqamyah הוֹשָׁמָ֖ע — הוֹשָׁמָ֖ע Hoshama וּנְדַבְיָֽה׃ — וּנְדַבְיָֽה׃ and–Nedavyah
Malchiram also, and Pedaiah, and Shenazar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
19 וּבְנֵ֣י — וּבְנֵ֣י and–sons-of פְדָיָ֔ה — פְדָיָ֔ה Pedayah זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל — זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל Zerubavel וְשִׁמְעִ֑י — וְשִׁמְעִ֑י and–Shim'i וּבֶן־ — וּבֶן־ and–son-of זְרֻבָּבֶל֙ — זְרֻבָּבֶל֙ Zerubavel מְשֻׁלָּ֣ם — מְשֻׁלָּ֣ם Meshullam וַחֲנַנְיָ֔ה — וַחֲנַנְיָ֔ה and–Chananyah וּשְׁלֹמִ֖ית — וּשְׁלֹמִ֖ית and–Shelomith אֲחוֹתָֽם׃ — אֲחוֹתָֽם׃ their–sister
And the sons of Pedaiah were, Zerubbabel, and Shimei: and the sons of Zerubbabel; Meshullam, and Hananiah, and Shelomith their sister:
20 וַחֲשֻׁבָ֡ה — וַחֲשֻׁבָ֡ה and–Chashuvah וָ֠אֹהֶל — וָ֠אֹהֶל and–Ohel וּבֶרֶכְיָ֧ה — וּבֶרֶכְיָ֧ה and–Berekhyah וַֽחֲסַדְיָ֛ה — וַֽחֲסַדְיָ֛ה and–Chasadyah י֥וּשַׁב — י֥וּשַׁב Yushav חֶ֖סֶד — חֶ֖סֶד Chesed חָמֵֽשׁ׃ — חָמֵֽשׁ׃ five
And Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushab–hesed, five.
21 וּבֶן־ — וּבֶן־ and–son-of חֲנַנְיָ֖ה — חֲנַנְיָ֖ה Chananyah פְּלַטְיָ֣ה — פְּלַטְיָ֣ה Pelatyah וִישַֽׁעְיָ֑ה — וִישַֽׁעְיָ֑ה and–Yesha'yah בְּנֵ֤י — בְּנֵ֤י sons-of רְפָיָה֙ — רְפָיָה֙ Rephayah בְּנֵ֣י — בְּנֵ֣י sons-of אַרְנָ֔ן — אַרְנָ֔ן Arnan בְּנֵ֥י — בְּנֵ֥י sons-of עֹבַדְיָ֖ה — עֹבַדְיָ֖ה Ovadyah בְּנֵ֥י — בְּנֵ֥י sons-of שְׁכַנְיָֽה׃ — שְׁכַנְיָֽה׃ Shekhanyah ס — ס [P]
And the sons of Hananiah; Pelatiah, and Jesaiah: the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shechaniah.
22 וּבְנֵ֥י — וּבְנֵ֥י and–sons-of שְׁכַנְיָ֖ה — שְׁכַנְיָ֖ה Shekhanyah שְׁמַעְיָ֑ה — שְׁמַעְיָ֑ה Shema'yah וּבְנֵ֣י — וּבְנֵ֣י and–sons-of שְׁמַעְיָ֗ה — שְׁמַעְיָ֗ה Shema'yah חַטּ֡וּשׁ — חַטּ֡וּשׁ Chattush וְ֠יִגְאָל — וְ֠יִגְאָל and–Yig'al וּבָרִ֧יחַ — וּבָרִ֧יחַ and–Variach וּנְעַרְיָ֛ה — וּנְעַרְיָ֛ה and–Ne'aryah וְשָׁפָ֖ט — וְשָׁפָ֖ט and–Shaphat שִׁשָּֽׁה׃ — שִׁשָּֽׁה׃ six
And the sons of Shechaniah; Shemaiah: and the sons of Shemaiah; Hattush, and Igeal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six.
23 וּבֶן־ — וּבֶן־ and–son-of נְעַרְיָ֗ה — נְעַרְיָ֗ה Ne'aryah אֶלְיוֹעֵינַ֧י — אֶלְיוֹעֵינַ֧י Elyo'enai וְחִזְקִיָּ֛ה — וְחִזְקִיָּ֛ה and–Chizqiyah וְעַזְרִיקָ֖ם — וְעַזְרִיקָ֖ם and–Azriqam שְׁלֹשָֽׁה׃ — שְׁלֹשָֽׁה׃ three
And the sons of Neariah; Elioenai, and Hezekiah, and Azrikam, three.
24 וּבְנֵ֣י — וּבְנֵ֣י and–sons-of אֶלְיוֹעֵינַ֗י — אֶלְיוֹעֵינַ֗י Elyo'enai [הדיוהו] — [הדיוהו] [K: Hodayahu] (הוֹדַוְיָ֡הוּ) — (הוֹדַוְיָ֡הוּ) (Hodavyahu) וְאֶלְיָשִׁ֡יב — וְאֶלְיָשִׁ֡יב and–Elyashiv וּפְלָיָ֡ה — וּפְלָיָ֡ה and–Pelayah וְ֠עַקּוּב — וְ֠עַקּוּב and–Aqqub וְיוֹחָנָ֧ן — וְיוֹחָנָ֧ן and–Yochanan וּדְלָיָ֛ה — וּדְלָיָ֛ה and–Delayah וַעֲנָ֖נִי — וַעֲנָ֖נִי and–Anani שִׁבְעָֽה׃ — שִׁבְעָֽה׃ seven ס — ס [P]
And the sons of Elioenai were, Hodaiah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Dalaiah, and Anani, seven.
